Thanks She will be showing your ideas to the wife. Really like alot of your plant choices. Darn there goes my all grass plans. New well and pump installed yesterday so time to get the irrigation corrected and get started.

You can have grass all along the left side strip from the back shed up, just not right under the dripline of that tree. Or in the garden lol...see?
Your welcome dear. Um what irrigation?
Hope your doing like 4 to 6 stations/valves , three valves (one for the fences plantings) two for drip to the garden area plants and a separate valve for the grass. If not two. lol told you you have a lot of work to do. tell me what are your irrigation plans? What GPM does your well produce?

Sorry Craig, they would freeze in your area I believe. It's pretty much a Mediterranean, tropical vine. I can't grow them up here either :(

Umm did I tell you already that 2 or 3 Virgina Creeper (vines) would cover that whole left side chain link fence, in no time and it's a great looking vine too. It blooma June through August, and as you can see has great fall color.

Just make sure no humans eat the berries cuz they are poisonous to humans (tho not to animals)
And one other thing, it is an invasive vine. If you are a responsible homewowner then you need to keep it under control and constrained on your fence & property.

Thanks to all who gave us some ideas. Going to finish the irrigation today hopefully. She let me know what size and where to send the hoody to. Graig says he is not coming off his plow hat. You can be the first in on your mountain to have a Wishin I'd Finished College Since 2001 hoody. AmEdge let me know and will get you out a t shirt.

    Thanks Again

Aww....shucks. I didn't really do anything. But thanks.

I'll say though...virginia creeper is one of the most annoying weeds in my area. I could send you a couple garbage bags full if you're wanting to go that route.

Hey Rhett, having trouble loading the progress photos.

PS Bougainvillea should only be used as security fencing to keep out unwanted Mexicans, it is truly nasty stuff!

OK guys but both those vines will cover unsightly fences in short order. Bougainvillea is a gorgeous vine, and Virgina creeper IS invasive if you let it get out of hand. If you keep it on the fence it will be fine. You guys find 2 vines or even one vine that will cover thickly, quickly, and flower pretty and survive in his environment.

Rhett, we know you are a busy man, but would you please take some closer pics of your landscape?

Pine I don't know> wil have to ask the wife on my opinion. Just kidding. Finished yesterday. Had a parade of cars go by. Two stopped and asked me if I did this for a living. Hard to lie with a trailer in the drive. One wanted to know if I could come down to his house now and give him a plan and price. Yep sitting with my wife having a beer on the front porch Sat 6 oclock, just go home and wait for me. Yard looks like Disney threw up on it. Pictures coming. Have one more pallet of grass out front to disperse today

Pallet gone. Had another Person wanting landscape leave a message on my door with a phone number. Trying real hard to like my wife right now. Like I need more to do. Not really that impressed. Go figure
